NOTE:- To the best of our knowledge, these domestic boilers have aluminium heat exchangers. This list is NOT exhaustive. It is produced from boiler manufacturers’ information as published in magazine surveys. Boiler manufacturers may change specifications, and you should always check the material of the heat exchanger directly with the boiler manufacturer if you have any doubt. If a boiler has an aluminium heat exchanger, the system should be power flushed with HYPER-FLUSH, and NOT POWERFLUSH FX2. Aluminium is a very reactive metal, and will suffer some attack from water that is even slightly acidic or alkaline, and therefore a neutral flushing chemical such as HYPER-FLUSH, should be used.
