When powerflushing a badly blocked radiator it can be very difficult to check if the process is working. It is impossible to detect subtle increases in temperature with your hand.

An infrared thermometer will instantly measure the exact temperature on any area of a radiator, marked by its laser sight (see above).
This is a very useful tool for assessing how badly sludged up a system is before powerflushing and an impressive way to show your customer that you have successfully cleaned their system.
